Bookkeeper
Taliano Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper to provide bookkeeping and financial support for our established juice production operations.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting activities of the business.
Working closely with management, suppliers, customers and external accountants, you will manage bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process supplier invoices, customer payments and payment runs.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and account statements.
- Complete bank, credit card and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up overdue payments.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee payroll records.
- Assist with BAS, GST, superannuation and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
- Prepare financial reports and information for management.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, accountants and auditors as required.
- Provide general administrative and accounts support to the business.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience.
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or a related qualification would be advantageous.
- Experience with accounting and payroll software.
- Sound understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, GST and bank reconciliations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
- Experience within manufacturing, food, beverage or FMCG would be highly regarded.
- Excellent accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Professional, dependable and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
